Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963, to an incredibly musical family from Newark New Jersey is the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. She's also the cousin of the singer Dionne Warwick. In Newark Whitney, she began singing with the church choir in the early years of her childhood. at the age of 15, she joined her mom in backing vocals in Chaka's hit Im Every Woman from 1978. Her mother, Jermaine and Lou Rawls were a few of those who she sang with. She was also briefly as a model for Seventeen Magazine in 1981. These songs helped Houston to achieve the seven US top tens which were higher than even the top tens of The Beatles. The album sold 3 million copies in its initial album's first year of release in the US and then went on to achieve a worldwide sales of 25 million, earning them the first six Grammies. The album Whitney, released in 1987, featuring popular singles Where Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, built upon her previous success. But it is The Bodyguard (1996) that established her as one of the best-selling albums in pop music. While her movie performance and soundtrack was not popular but the Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and the album accompanying it were top of the charts across the world for several months. Her daughter Bobbi is born March of 1993, the year after she wed Bobby Brown. In 1996 her daily use of drugs was documented.
