Jillian Hernnessy (born 25th November, 1968) is a Canadian artist, actress and vocalist who made an impact in American television. The actress has made a household name for her performances as Claire Kincaid in Law & Order and Crossing Jordan. Hennessy was also able to showcase her talent in movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. She also created and directed these movies. Hennessy began her acting career along with her twin sister as twin call girls in Dead Ringers in 1988. She briefly appeared in Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story on Broadway in the year 1990. It was 1993 when she stepped out of the world of musicals and into the sci-fi genre as the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. She got her big break after the season ended after she was tapped as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order.
